Good evening everyone, I'm Robert Rincon. We begin tonight at 10 with some breaking news out of Vacaville about a elderly man in a green Ford pickup truck that everyone is calling a creep. The elderly man was negatively known by the community as a person who stalks, take inappropriate photos and videos of children and women. He's even known to be driving around places children visit like community parks just to record the young ones as one member of Vacaville Crime and Community Info Facebook group stated
"I almost forgot to post...Man In Green ford truck who takes pics of children and stalks women and children was at ANDREWS PARK YESTERDAY AROUND 3:30PM...watching kids play." -LA Chapis.
Vacaville Police say they've received numerous reports of this person stalking people and others trying to report his location everywhere he's spotted until today, August 14th.
Around 8 p.m tonight, the suspected driver was stopped by 4 Vacaville Police vehicles at Walmart Neighborhood Market on Alamo Drive according to Kirstyn Gottschall of Vacaville Crime Facebook group. What most people saw was only that the man's truck was towed. On the other hand what many were hoping for but were not aware of was that despite his acts of stalking and taking photos of minors, According to Vacaville Police, they stated by phone he was arrested but for a different reason which he was caught driving with a suspended license. According to Christi Heimlich of Vacaville Crime and Community Info Facebook group, "He was placed in the back of the cop car (arrested) but they gave him a citation and let him go. Just because you are arrested does not mean you automatically go to jail." After doing research, this comment appears to be true that arrest doesn't always mean jail time, but can also mean a citation was given with a date to appear in court.
